Will Hooper joined the New York Genome Center in September 2019. Previously, he supported transcriptomics and cancer genomics efforts on clinical trials at Emmes in Washington D.C. He earned an M.S. in Biology, and a dual B.S. in Bioinformatics and Biochemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. While undertaking his graduate studies, he worked under Dr. Chris Bystroff on the development of a software package for protein structure modeling. At the NYGC, Will supports production activities and collaborations for the Cancer group.
