Wayne Clarke

Bioinformatics Scientist

Wayne Clarke joined the New York Genome Center in August 2015. He earned a PhD in Computer Science with a concentration in Bioinformatics from the University of Saskatchewan. His research centered on development of methods for high-throughput discovery of single nucleotide variants in non-model polyploid organisms.

Here at the New York Genome Center, Wayne primarily works on development of the germline structural variant analysis pipeline. In addition to his primary work, Wayne is particularly interested in developing methods for cutting-edge technologies and looks forward to collaboration with the innovation lab here at the New York Genome Center.
