Kshithija Nagulapalli

Senior Bioinformatics Analyst

Kshithija joined the New York Genome Center as a Sequencing Bioinformatics Analyst in 2015. Her role included interpreting QC data and collaboratively working with Computational Biology on data analysis, benchmarking new tools as and when they are available, supporting laboratory process optimization, whole genome, exome capture and single-cell assay validation through QC analytics. She was later promoted to Senior Bioinformatics Analyst in Computational Biology and in this role she focuses primarily on the maintenance, improvement, and operation of the germline sequencing analysis pipeline and large scale whole genome data analysis.
Kshithija obtained her B.Tech in Bioinformatics from Sathyabama University in India and an M.S. in Bioinformatics from Indiana University. Prior to joining NYGC, Kshithija worked at the Center for Cancer Computational Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a Bioinformatics Analyst under the guidance of Dr. John Quackenbush.
